Vajra Arya Foundation Nepal is a non-profit organization established in 2019, dedicated to providing a safe haven and quality education for underprivileged children from the remote villages of Nepal. Founded by Buddhist monk Ramsharan Timalsina, the Foundation is built on the pillars of compassion, loving-kindness, and holistic development.
The seed for the Vajra Arya Foundation was sown through a cross-continental friendship. Mr. Kasim from Canada, who has traveled to Nepal for over six years, encouraged Ramsharan Timalsina to establish an organization that could offer better care and educational opportunities to children in need.
Since its humble beginnings in 2019, we have grown steadily:
2019: Organization officially started.
2020: Welcomed our first 5 students.
2021: Recognized by the Ministry of Education with an official award.
2022: Expanded to support 15 students.
2023 & Beyond: Continuing to make a tangible difference in society.
In a country where many children remain underprivileged, we envision a future where every child has access to academic qualifications and a dignified standard of living. We aim to uplift the backward communities of Nepal without expectation of receiving anything in return, finding our success in the academic endeavors of our children.
Guided by Buddhist principles, our philosophy is rooted in compassion and loving-kindness. We believe that teaching children to care for one another, all living beings, and the planet is the most important foundation for a better world.
